PROF. ALAN HEDGE
Alan Hedge is a Professor in the Deptt. of Design and Environmental Analysis, Cornell University. He directs the Human Factors, Ergonomics teaching and research programs. Prior to joining Cornell, he ran the Graduate Program in Applied Psychology and Ergonomics at Aston University, Birmingham, U.K. From 1990-1993 he was also an Honorary Research Fellow at the Institute of Occupational Health, University of Birmingham, U.K. and he has been a Research Professor in the Deptt. of Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Syracuse University.
PROF. JAMES SCHAUER
Prof. James J. Schauer is a professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and serves as the director of the Water Science and Engineering Laboratory and a core faculty member of the Environmental Chemistry and Technology Program. His research focuses onthe use of advanced chemical analysis and air pollution sampling techniques to understand the chemical composition of source emissions and atmospheric pollutant concentrations.
PROF. SAGNIK DEY
Dr. Sagnik Dey is Institute Chair professor at the Centre for Atmospheric Sciences, coordinator of the Arun Duggal Centre of Excellence for Research in Climate Change and Air Pollution (CERCA), Co-coordinator of CAPHER INDIA and an associate faculty of School of Public Policy at IIT Delhi, India. His research interest is to understand the interlinkages of air pollution and climate change and how it impacts human health. Dr Dey has been involved in several national (e.g., National Carbonaceous Aerosol Program, National Clean Air Mission, National Climate Mission etc.) and international (e.g., NASA's MAIA mission, Indo-UK, Indo-Poland bilateral program) projects. He is a consultant of the World Bank on air quality management and is working with several UN bodies (UNEP, UNDP) on various issues of air pollution. He is a member of the WHO Southeast Asia RTAG on non-communicable diseases. He is a collaborator of the Global Burden of Disease Study. He was awarded INSA Young Scientist Medal in 2008, NASI-SCOPUS Young Scientist Award in 2012, Institute Teaching Excellence Award in 2016 and Fulbright-Nehru Professional and Academic Exellence Award in 2017-18. He is serving as Associate Editor in Atmospheric Environment, and Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports (Nature) and Earth System Dynamics. Dr Dey has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals.

Dr. Vimlesh Pant received his M.Sc. degree (2001) in Physics from H.N.B. Garhwal University and M.Phil Degree (2003) in Instrumentation from I.I.T. Roorkee. He carried out research work on the topic 'Marine aerosols over the Indian Ocean and at Antarctica' at Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (an autonomous instt. under Min. of Earth Sciences), Pune
PROF. RIJUREKHA SEN
She is currently an Assistant Professor in Computer science and Engineering, IIT Delhi. Her research interests lie in building distributed, networked and privacy-aware systems, focused on problems at the boundary of information technology and society.
PROF. SATYANANDA KAR
Dr. Kar received his master degree in Physics from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar in 2004 and PhD in experimental plasma from Institute for Plasma Research, Gandhinagar in 2011. Before joining IIT Delhi as an Assistant Professor, he has worked as a research fellow at Nagoya University, Japan. His research interest is atmospheric pressure plasma for biomedical applications, water sterilization and air purification.
